Film Synopsis

Under the Red is an avant-garde horror film. It tells the story of Adam, an impressionable young man with aspirations to be a professional actor, and his mother, Esther, an ambitious and reclusive woman who was once a celebrated actress. After Adam receives yet another rejection notice, Esther contacts a mysterious individual called Andrea, who promises to make Adam a star at the expense of his life. Adam’s life changes when he meets Andrea by the lake and undergoes a transformative journey where reality and fantasy begin to blur that will change his life forever.
