- Pre-Accelerator: designed to provide a guided experience to quickly and cost-effectively determine pathways to market for an idea, invention, or research project.
- I2N Accelerator: designed to provide a guided experience to quickly and cost-effectively validate your business idea or solution and get you investment ready.
- I2N Cleantech Accelerator: designed to build the capability and competitiveness of tech-enabled entrepreneurs across the sectors of clean energy, clean water, recycling and waste, supply chain, built environment, air quality, and transportation.
- Incubator: the I2N Hub Honeysuckle has been purpose-built to support enterprise skill development, new venture creation, and scale-ups.

Library access
Don’t say goodbye to the wealth of knowledge available through the University of Newcastle's library.
Local alumni can sign up for a free University of Newcastle Library Membership to access book borrowing privileges and a selection of online journals through our Auchmuty Library location.
Complete the online membership application form and then collect your membership card from your nominated library location during regular opening hours.
Your membership will be valid for three years from the date you collect your card and is easily renewed by contacting library staff.

The Alumni Team have produced a Celebrating Milestones Toolkit to assist alumni groups planning reunions and other milestone events. This toolkit offers a variety of resources, including:

Did you know that the University is not just a space for students and staff to enjoy?
We offer a range of state-of-the-art facilities for hire, ranging from large auditoriums catering up to 1,200 people for school presentations, to sporting facilities including an aquatic centre, multipurpose courts and ovals, to lecture theatres, classrooms, function rooms and meeting rooms.

Eligibility
In celebration of the University’s 60th Anniversary in 2025, we recognise the positive impacts made by our institution both locally and globally, whilst boldly looking ahead to the future. In doing so, we want to ensure that all our communities feel a sense of pride in our shared history, particularly our alumni, many of whom are the living embodiment of our University’s values.
Members of our alumni community that can access the full suite of alumni benefits includes:
- Graduates who have completed a diploma, undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University of Newcastle;
- Graduates from antecedent institutions, who have been awarded an undergraduate, post graduate degree or diploma. These institutions include Newcastle Teachers College; National Art School (amalgamated with NCAE in 1975); Newcastle University College (Tighes Hill); Newcastle Conservatorium of Music; Newcastle College of Advance Education and the Hunter Institute of higher Education.
- Graduates who have completed Open Foundation, NewStep or Yapug via Pathways and Academic Learning Support (PALS).
